The Petrified Forest National Park is an endless expanse of desert badlands. No sounds, no bugs, no live plants, no water, and no god damn sight of any human being for miles. It was something you would see out of a 70's sci-fi video game, preparing for abduction at any given moment by an alien spaceship.
