British auto icon Aston Martin just rolled out a new toy for Sir James Bond, or anybody that happens to have $295,000 to burn. The new Vanquish S is a sharper, sportier and more powerful version of the Vanquish, and is available now.

The Vanquish S is powered by Aston Martin's 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 monster, producing 580 horsepower — up from the 568hp in previous models.

Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to the rear, the engine enables the Vanquish S to sprint from 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds. Should you keep the pedal down, it finally tops out of 201mph.

Aston Martin worked to make its Vanquish S a more liveable car while delivering its deep reserves of power by retuning the suspension, damper internals, spring rates and anti-roll bar bushes.

It features refined aerodynamic styling with use of fiber for the diffuser, splitter and bonnet louvers; the quad-exhaust pipes elevate its sporting flavor over the regular Vanquish.

The cockpit is clearly befitting of its price tag, featuring ample use of carbon fiber in a satin sheen and quilted leather leather, complete with Vanquish S embroidered headrests.
