2016 was another big year for Jordan Brand with over 150 total Air Jordan Retro releases. Some of those releases included both original and new colorways. While we enter 2017, we take a look back at our Top 10 Air Jordan Releases of 2016.

Adding “Nike Air” is always a plus when it comes to classic Air Jordans. On February 13th, Jordan Brand brought back the iconic “White Cement” Air Jordan 4 that retailed for $220 USD.

Inspired by Michael Jordan earning his wings as a player and learning how to fly. Jordan Brand dropped a limited “Wings” Air Jordan 12 that was highlighted by an upper that exposed Gold Wings graphic when it’s rubbed. They debuted on April 2nd for $225 USD and was limited to 12,000 pairs.

Building on a huge year for the Air Jordan 12, the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” returned on May 28th at a retail price of $190 USD.

Jordan Brand teamed up with Football superstar Neymar to release a limited edition Neymar x Air Jordan Collection that included this Air Jordan 5 Low. Featuring Neymar’s national #10 stitched on the heel that debuted on June 3rd for $200 USD.

For the first time since 2001, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Cherry” made a retro release on June 4th for $170 USD.

Celebrating Michael Jordan’s last championship form his first three-peat, Jordan Brand debuted the Air Jordan 8 “Championship Trophy” as part of the Air Jordan 8 C&C Championship Pack. Released on June 25th for $250 USD.

Original Air Jordans continues throughout 2016, which included the popular return of the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” with Nike Air on July 23rd for $220 USD.

Celebrating the Air Jordan XXX1, the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” was brought back as a remastered release on September 3rd for $160 USD.

Hooking up with Drake is always big, specially when he’s part of your squad. On October 1st, the Air Jordan 12 OVO “White” was officially released for $225 USD.

What do you get when you combine three classic Air Jordan 1 colorways? The Air Jordan 1 “Top 3” which included the “Chicago,” the “Banned,” and the “Royal” Air Jordan 1s that dropped on November 28th for $160 USD.

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without the Air Jordan 11. For this holiday season, Jordan Brand celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the Space Jam movie. For the celebration, the Jumpman gave us the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” that resembled the original Michael Jordan “Space Jam” film PE.
