From the outside, the Edward W. Bok Technical High School in South Philadelphia looks exactly that - a high school. On the inside, the hallways are empty, remnants of what used to be a functioning educational facility. 'Vacant America', produced and conceptualized by Philly-based projection lighting and art company, Klip Collective, reuses items found within the empty school, including year books, text books, and instruments. It is the vision of Klip Collective artists to create a series of video installations uncovering physical memories and visual residues from America’s forgotten and changing spaces.
