OPEL'S KILLER CONCEPT CAR THAT MIGHT BE REAL

The radically cool "Opel RAK e" is an electric 2-seat city concept car produced by the German car manufacturer Opel, and premiered at the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011. Officially a quadricycle, it has a 60 mile range and a top speed of 75 mph and was developed and designed in conjunction with KISKA, designers of the KTM X-Bow. Unlike the super cool concept cars that never get built, GM is actually serious about this one. According to project engineer Stefan Gloger, they’re just now figuring out exactly how they can build it in scale. Prices not formally announced, but likely will be in the $11,000-$15,000 range.
