Gill Schmid Design of New York has collaborated with the Tim Dempers Studio of Cape Town on this $100 million-plus private vessel capable of exploring the furthest corners of the world. Although built for extreme polar and tropical adventures, the superyacht, named Taboon, is more than just luxurious. The yacht carries its own seaplane, helicopter, submarine, hot air balloon, amphibious car, supercar and a range of luxury tenders. Seems normal, right? Taboo can accommodate 26 guests along with 40 crew attending to guests' every need. The interior includes a two-deck guest lounge and pool space, and beach club with a full sized pool located on the main and upper deck. There is an extensive guest gym and spa area, a cocktail lounge, and a ‘summer house’ aft. There will also be a casino on board. One of its most impressive features is an open double height tender bay and a helicopter landing pad with a retractable and fully enclosed helicopter garage.
